How To Process A Return or Exchange

Return and Exchange Policy
We're so excited you found Everybody.World. We do everything we can to ensure you are happy with your purchase, but we understand sometimes things don't work out.
Returns must be in like-new condition, unworn, unwashed and undamaged, including and not limited to deodorant marks, perfumes or other smells, or pet hair. If an item needs to be cleaned before it can be resold, customers may be required to pay a 15% cleaning fee. If items cannot be resold, they will not be refunded.
Returns are accepted for eligible unworn and unwashed items purchased at Everybody.World for 30 days after the original order date. Original shipping fees are nonrefundable.
If your order is damaged or defective upon arrival, please email orders@everybody.world to organize a replacement.
Exclusions
All sale items are final and no returns or exchanges will be accepted on perfume, Factory Flea Market items, Letter Blankets, intimate apparel, socks, swimwear and masks. Also, items that are marked "Final Sale" on their product page. If you're unsure, please check the product page of the item(s) you're inquiring about.
Charity And Select Collaborations, Exchange For Size Only and Final Sale
No refunds but you may exchange for a different size of the same item. To exchange for a different size of one of these items, please email orders@everybody.world. Valid for 30 days after the original order date. Please be aware that charity and select collaborations that are marked "Final Sale" on their product page are not eligible for return or exchange.
For preordered items that shipped more than 30 days after the original order date, please email orders@everybody.world to request your exchange.
U.S. Returns
Option 1: Pay now to unlock free returns
We offer you the option to unlock free return shipping later for the eligible items in your order by paying a small returns fee at the time of purchase. If you choose to pay this fee during purchase, there's no additional charge for shipping your item(s) back to us.
Please note that this service does not exempt your order from final sale or other store policies.
Option 2: If you didn't opt in to "pay now to unlock free returns"
If you choose not to pay this fee during your purchase, and would like a full refund, you can still return items, but $11 for the return shipping label fee will be deducted from your refund.
The return shipping fee is waived if you submit a return request for a refund in the form of store credit.
U.S. Exchanges
You may submit an exchange request through our return portal by selecting "Shop Now" or "Shop for something new." Return shipping is free when you process an exchange.
International Returns
EU customers: if your order was delivered within the last 14 days, please use the EU Right of Withdrawal process below instead.
Customers must ship back with their own shipping method. Please note: it will likely cost you significantly more to ship your item back to us than it did for us to ship it to you. We recommend you take a close look at our size charts to ensure your products will fit as desired. Please follow these steps to initiate a return:
- Email orders@everybody.world to request a return
- Include your order number
- Mention that you're requesting a non-U.S. return
Return Processing Time
We'll process your return/exchange within 7 business days (M to F, excluding holidays) from the time we receive your package. Once processed, you'll receive an email confirmation. If 7 business days have passed and you haven't received your confirmation email, please email orders@everybody.world to check on the status of your return/exchange.
EU Right of Withdrawal
This section only applies to customers located in the European Union.
Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU as amended by Directive 2023/2673), EU customers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving their order, without giving any reason.
How to exercise your right of withdrawal
You may withdraw from your contract at any time during the 14-day withdrawal period by using our withdrawal function—no login required. You will need your order number and email address. Upon submission, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. Withdraw from contract here.
What happens after you withdraw
Once you declare withdrawal, you must return the goods to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after your declaration. We will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard outbound shipping costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of shipment, whichever comes first. We will issue the refund using the same payment method you used for the original purchase.
Return shipping for EU withdrawals
Please note that under Article 14(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. A prepaid label will be provided through our withdrawal portal; the label cost will be deducted from your refund.
Condition of returned goods
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. For example, handling beyond what you would reasonably do in a physical store. Trying on clothing does not constitute diminished value.
Exemptions
As set forth in Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Goods that are sealed for health or hygiene protection reasons and have been unsealed after delivery. This includes intimate apparel, swimwear, and masks.
- Goods that have been clearly personalized or made to your specifications.
Sale pricing does not affect your right of withdrawal. Items marked "Final Sale" may still be withdrawn from within the 14-day period unless they fall under one of the exemptions listed above.
