We make long-lasting basics by rethinking the materials and the way they're made.

This all started with an experiment: What if we made the perfect T-shirt from cotton waste? That led us to develop a world-first biodegradable fabric and a hyperlocal manufacturing system in Los Angeles where our clothes are knit, cut, sewn, and finished.

Using waste as resource since 2016 has allowed us to divert more than a million pounds of cotton waste away from landfill. But our supply chain isn't just about making more responsible T-shirts from trash. A commitment to materials and practices that put people, communities, and the planet first means we get to make more interesting things and things more interesting. 

Ten years in, sustainability remains a joyful discovery. And we remain an independent business, proudly woman and minority-owned. In 2025, co-founder Carolina Crespo was named to the Vogue Business 100 Innovators list for helping steer the next wave of fashion.

Massive problems in our industry create massive opportunities. What interests us is what's possible: better basics, new ideas, unexpected collaborations, and things people want to wear, use, reach for, and make their own.
