You can't spell Contributor without U and I

Ariel Katz

The Contributor Collection is designed by everyday extraordinary people, not designers in the traditional sense, just creative minds with great style and an idea for something they want to wear.

Here’s how it works: They have an idea for a garment. We make it and sell it. They get 10% of the profits of their idea for life.

Sold out pieces have included wide-leg pants by community activist and self-taught gardener Ron Finley, a tool roll by chef Angela Dimayuga, towels in nine shades of nude by publisher and Pin—Up founder Felix Burrichter, and an 8 ft long body pillow by bon vivant Jean Pigozzi.

And there's plenty of names you mightn’t know so well, like chess playing spiritualist Prakash Gokalchand who designed a perfect Button-Up Shirt, tarot reader and therapeutic arts practitioner Jerico Mandybur who divined Apartment Pants you can leave the house in, and Everybody.World staff member Ariel Katz whose Everyday Shorts became a staple of the Trash Collection.

The Contributor Collection shows off the beauty of humanity, across different backgrounds and different generations, simply by asking: What's missing from your wardrobe?

Each non-designer offers up a rich perspective, history, aesthetic and story that we think brings real-life functionality to a single garment. While they might have very little in common on the surface, their individual joie de vivre and combined magic runs deep.

The creative minds behind this collection enlighten us about the past, engage us in the present, and inspire us for the future. Solving one specific apparel problem at a time, always in mind-expanding fabulous new ways.
