Icons of depth and complexity

Decades before the Brundtland Commission defined "sustainability," a systems theorist by the name of R. Buckminster Fuller had an epiphany that became his lifelong pursuit: to make the world work, for 100% of humanity, in the shortest possible time, through spontaneous cooperation, without ecological offense or the disadvantage of anyone. It's a big mission statement and it's been our defining guardrail as a brand.

That's what we're really saying when we say Workers, Ecology, Ideas. Those three words are our guiding light, and the heart of every decision our small business makes, and they're inspired by R. Buckminster Fuller's vision.

Year back, we had a globe logo on the site's header and sewn onto our Everyday Shorts and Apartment Pants. An obvious nod to our name, sure, but also symbolizing greater connectivity. That mark evolved in the past few years to what we call the Bucky.

Named in Buckminster’s honor, the new logo shows six abstract figures holding hands in a circle, with the letters E.W visible in the negative space. Six, the first perfect number. People, being what grounds us and because to get anything made, even a seemingly simple Trash Tee, requires a united team. A circle, an evolution of the globe, representing our world. And E.W right there in the center of it all. Designed by Jonah Ladesic, this became the perfect mark for what we're trying to achieve.

In clothing and ethosEverybody.World revolves (and evolves) around great ideas and a unique perspective, rooted in an unshakable belief to make the world work better.

Years of development, practice, care and collaboration have turned the unlikely idea of making wardrobe staples from trash, into a working system. But we're still figuring it out. Improving processes. Finding new uses for waste streams. Turning existential threats into sustainable futures. Building relationships with the people who make our world possible, creative, exceptional.
