Made in collaboration with the historic Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles.
This t-shirt has a classic cut that errs on the side of easy when it comes to fit, and can be worn by all.
The Whole Body artwork stems from an ongoing body of animation work that explores how capitalism disjoints and discombobulates people - along with how people can become whole again.
Artist: Gloria Galvez
Gloria Galvez maintains a practice of disrupting, subverting, and dismantling bland and oppressive status-quo norms. Within this practice, her current focus is invoking alternate and simultaneous realities that prompt rebellious and revealing questions to the current social-political conditions of things – both living and nonliving things – both human and non-human things. Galvez has exhibited at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, Mycology Convergence, the Feminist Center for Creative Work, NAVEL, Chuco's Justice Center along with other arts and community based places, and is currently a visiting artist at the California Institute of the Arts.
