FOOD AS ART

'If our walls could talk,' Najat says in Snacky Tunes of her kitchen in Fez, 'they would sing with the spirits of the whole Medina. Likewise, the design reflects her lyrical approach to food and the spirit of the Moroccan Medina–a high-energy, cacophonous orchestra of life. Complex text and image merge into a unifying, rhythmic visual language, which includes Arabic hospitality sayings, such as 'United Harmony.'
