    THE CHEF BEHIND THE DESIGN

Manu Buffara is the executive chef and owner of Manu in Curitiba, Brazil, a restaurant that has received critical acclaim for its tasting menu and recognition by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants. FOOD AS ART

In Snacky Tunes, Manu explains that 'food is art and when we create a dish, we have to think that way about the ingredients.' Her design celebrates the artistic expressions that connect the food of Manu with the music and heritage of Curitiba. In the expressive and textural style of iconic concert flyers, the design presents Manu's classic Brazilian ingredients as band names with nods to bossa nova.

100% of proceeds from the sale of Manu's t-shirt will benefit Mulheres do Bem, a network of chefs, journalists and producers founded by Buffara during the pandemic that cooks and delivers healthy meals for the homeless.
