Jr. Product Developer

(Part Time, Full Time, Los Angeles, Hybrid)

Join our growing design and product development team! This position is primarily focused on the nuts and bolts of manufacturing, but as a part of the Creative and Design Department, there are opportunities to contribute creatively. Hours are Monday-Friday 9:30am-5:30pm from the E.W HQ in Huntington Park. The workplace is a manufacturing warehouse environment, so you must be good with that. We approach each day as a learning opportunity but are currently looking for candidates who come to the table with apparel industry work experience.


Responsibilities

Support Product Development team

Spec garments with accuracy

Create and maintain PD documents and tech packs in Illustrator

Create CAD drawings for new products in Illustrator

Visit factories/vendors regularly to check on development samples

Source fabrics and trims

Maintain design studio library

Skills & Other Requirements

At least two years working in the fashion industry

Slack

Monday.com

Google suite

Adobe Creative suite

Access to personal laptop and cell phone

Must be able to drive (lots of running around to factories)

Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus!

Sewing and patternmaking a plus!


Compensation

$18-20/hour dependent on experience and skills

Health insurance after 2 months of employment (full time employees)

401(k) after one year of employees (full time employees, optional)

Company provides Adobe Creative Suite license
