Jr. Product Developer

(Part Time, Full Time, Los Angeles, Hybrid)

Join our growing design and product development team! This position is primarily focused on the nuts and bolts of manufacturing, but as a part of the Creative and Design Department, there are opportunities to contribute creatively. Hours are Monday-Friday 9:30am-5:30pm from the E.W HQ in Huntington Park. The workplace is a manufacturing warehouse environment, so you must be good with that. We approach each day as a learning opportunity but are currently looking for candidates who come to the table with apparel industry work experience.


Responsibilities

Support Product Development team

Spec garments with accuracy

Create and maintain PD documents and tech packs in Illustrator

Create CAD drawings for new products in Illustrator

Visit factories/vendors regularly to check on development samples

Source fabrics and trims

Maintain design studio library


What We're Looking For

At least two years working in the fashion industry

Must be able to drive (lots of running around to factories)

Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus!

Sewing and patternmaking a plus!


Compensation

$18-20/hour dependent on experience and skills

Health insurance after 2 months of employment (full time employees)

401(k) after one year of employees (full time employees, optional)

Company provides Adobe Creative Suite license

Accounts Payable/Receivable (+Office Clerk)

Support our small biz with cash flow management as well as finance-related nuts and bolts on a part-time basis. Those desiring full time work can also take on clerical tasks related to various operations of the company. Hours are flexible Monday-Friday hybrid WFH and from the E.W HQ in Huntington Park. The workplace is a manufacturing warehouse environment, so you must be comfortable with that.


Responsibilities

If Part Time (AP/AR):

Track and report weekly, monthly and quarterly sales goals

Track payables and issue payments

Track receivables and follow up on collections as needed

Reconcile AP/AR in Quickbooks

Maintain a weekly and monthly budget

Audit select payables and report findings to leadership team

Communicate with bookkeeper and accountant as needed

Attend weekly Monday afternoon "all team meeting


If Full Time, above plus:

Misc clerical tasks

Data entry

Ordering office supplies

Work with various HQ vendors

Record keeping, sorting and filing
