A genderless and durable all day walking shoe, with a sturdy leather upper and unslippable suede insole.

Handmade in the USA by George, one of the last shoemakers in Los Angeles, using Vibram soles. The vulcanized rubber is designed to provide excellent traction and abrasion resistance.

Available in US women’s sizes 7-11 and US men’s sizes 8-12. All colorways are limited edition.

Designer: Essence & Jihaari

Essence is a curator, writer, mixed media artist, and Ph.D candidate. Jihaari is a music producer, DJ, and visual artist. Both are from Oakland, both are in love with Blackness, image making and aesthetics, and both happen to be married to the other. They're also new parents!

Both are from Oakland, both are in love with Blackness, image making and aesthetics, and both happen to be married to the other. Together they have a syncretic practice of creativity wherein making art, hosting events, and djing are all part of their partnership.

They’ve designed a genderless and durable sneaker-slipper hybrid, with a sturdy leather upper and unslippable suede insole. Essence is obsessed with a chunky sole and Jihaari wanted something that could easily slip on and stay on.
