The artwork celebrates the history and culture of the neighborhood of MacArthur Park / Westlake by illustrating local businesses and street vendors.

Artist: Mikkalous

Mikkalous (pronounced like "Nicholas" with a "M") is the working alias of Mikki Paek, a visual artist living and working in Los Angeles. She works with a range of media including digital and print illustration, animation, painting, typography and sculpture. Her North Star is her 8-year-old self - making art that young Mikkalous would enjoy.
